Wavebreaker now comes with a CE marking which is normally required for road traffic noise projects. The basis is our Declaration of Performance which is based on the harmonized standards EN 14388:2005, Road traffic noise reducing device – added device. February 2025

Patent registration
We have the pleasure to announce that our patent for the Wavebreaker diffractors, or noise reduction units, have been registered throughout Europe, Australia, Japan and Taiwan so far. An important milestone has been reached. December 2024

Installation in the Czech Republic
Wavebreaker AB has started the installation of the first order. The assembly of the modules is done on a new noise barrier made of aluminium elements between steel pillars next to a high-traffic railway corridor designed for 200 km/h. Long-distance noise reduction
A new noise reduction report for the long-distance effect of Wavebreaker is now available. The report evaluates the efficiency of the Wavebreaker attachment to a noise barrier using acoustic FE-program Actran. The study is conducted to evaluate Wavebreaker’s performance for different source-receiver spatial combinations at long distances. Contact us for the complete report. January 2023
